Through discussion with the Technical Team it was discovered that our software license had been activated under a church with same name in same state but different city - meaning we never paid to activate our software.
The reason the review is titled 'Great Product With Service to Match' is that I was completely satisfied with EasyWorship 6 from time it was installed in October of 2017 until Sunday Jwhen I attempted to purchase a bible and program stated my login details were invalid. Overall: As stated above the ease of developing a complete schedule with limited resources is key advantage for our church. No need to add all the custom songs over again. This comes in very handy during computer upgrades. EW is highly customizable and also easy to back up onto a flash drive. As long as they can read and pay attention to the service they can help put the songs and texts up on screen. It's a great tool for helping young persons to get involved in the service. So intuitive that non-techies can master the basic operations in less than 30 minutes. Secondly the interface is pretty easy to understand and use. Of course the newer versions require a little more processing power and memory but the early version still works well even on newer operating systems. I ran our first version of Easy Worship on an old laptop with Windows XP and no more than 512MB RAM. The system requirements are pretty basic in terms of software and memory usage but of course you need a device that supports dual video output. The first thing I like about this software is that it is easy to setup and get it running. The built-in Bible versions also mean that the preachers can call any random text during the sermons and we can put it in seconds. We use EW to display hymns and Bible texts mainly on the projector or TV but it really comes in handy for praise and worship sessions where we can just keep the words coming as the song leaders chain songs together.
Pros: It was a wonderful day when the church decided to buy EW instead of just using PowerPoint for visual aids in services. If you're looking to get presentation program, I'd recommend evaluating your needs, evaluating what your computer can handle, and I know at the top of the pack will be EasyWorship. There's not a lot of hidden features that you have to dig through finding. It's easy for volunteers that have no experience to pick it up. Has a remote feature which is very useful when you need to control it away from the computer. It's easy for volunteers to put lyrics and presentate order of worship together. We moved to EasyWorship because it supports importing from a wide range of files. But worked with EasyWorship because it had all the features we needed at a price point we couldn't beat. Before moving to EasyWorship, I had been using OpenLP and Open Source Presentation Program. I'm a pastor, and I give EasyWorship a four out of five stars.
